LIFESTYLE | Little Things #2

Soup shoop shoop. I love it. This is my Mum's homemade chicken and veg one, perfect comfort food when the weather is all chilly. This isn't the most photogenic of meals but in my opinion the tastiest ones never are!

I recently picked up this little duo from & Other Stories, I love the simple and stylish packaging! My facial skincare routine is a bit up and down but I've always been very good at bodycare. I won't do a full on review because I ain't no beauty blogger but I'll say the scrub (£7) is one of the best I've ever used. IVs makes my skin horribly rough but this totally smoothed it out after one use without being too abrasive due to it being sugar based. It's super moisturising and a little goes a long way so when this eventually runs out I'll most definitely purchase another in one of the other gorgeous scents they had. The body lotion (£7) is perfectly lovely but I'm too addicted to coconut oil (Superdrug's own brand is just a couple of pounds!) so I think maybe I'll pass this on to my Mum or something because I probably won't use it much.

I've finally put up this little rabbit picture! My mum drew it when she was a teen and I just think it's so cute. I have just one more picture to put up and then that's it, my walls are very bare but I like it that way. I think the wallpaper adds more than enough interest!

Finally I was really surprised this week to find out that I've been accepted as part of #AccessAllASOS. They also kindly sent me a cute little package, the nail stickers are my favourites...I'm useless at nail art but these are so simple to use! Are you an Access All ASOS Insider too? If not you can fill in applications for 2014 now...go, go, go!

Oh and I'm also stupidly excited about the return of Boardwalk Empire except it's been so long since the last series I've forgotten what's been happening! Let me know if you watch it, no one I know does so I have no one to talk about it with haha.

  5. You're so right about the tastiest meals being the least photogenic- I adore Chinese food but I can never blog a trip to even the most beautifully designed restaurant because the food never seems to look as nice as it tastes. Love the look of the & other stories goodies, and thanks for telling us about the Asos thing! xx

The sugar body scrub sounds wonderful, I've gone off my Soap & Glory one and have a new Simple one, but I'll keep an eye out for sugar based ones in future as I've never tried one xxx
