I went to the hospital today, IVs it is! Got some tablets to take for now, gotta go back Thursday to get the needle put in and then I'm also back on Friday to see the ear, nose and throat people because I'm having sinus trouble which is really badly affecting my breathing on top of CF. So three trips to the hospital this week...longaaaage! But the CF clinic has relocated to somewhere shiny and new and the waiting room is painted hot pink. I likey! And I'm not on cat's pee this time (that's a nickname for this horrible IV that looks and smells like cat's pee and it's just absolutely vile) so I'm very happy about that. I'll try and post about IVs because I did one a long time ago but it's a bit crap haha.

Between these hospital appointments I really wanna squeeze in a trip to Oxford Street. All last week I've had this overwhelming urge to go to &OtherStories, I don't know why but I think the only thing to do is go...I cannot question this powerful feeling, I just gotta go along with it. It might be some kind of fate, maybe I'll find something I was destined to wear. Even though it's raining cats and dogs (such an odd expression) and my breathing is pretty terrible. And I don't need anything, I bought some stuff in Ireland including this super cosy jumper (the men's knitwear is so much better!) I might pop into work and tell them I'm gonna need some time off instead of phoning them, hate telling them I need time off.

PS I know what you mean about hating to phone to have some time off, but I'm sure they all understand.

  5. Oh no, that's rubbish! :( Hope you're feeling better soon. 3 trips sounds like such a pain!
I really love this hat on you! And I am always in the mens section looking at knitwear (and tees) too, so much nicer quality than the womens! Also I think you have to go to &otherstories... I had that same feeling once, but to check eBay & it was when I found my super cheapy Rick Owens wedges! :D

  18. This hat was made of you Josie, it suits you so well. Thinking of you as you're going to the hospital, take some good reads to pass the time. Havente heard of &Otherstories before, now I am intrigued.
