Hallo! How are you? Cold? Yeahhhh, me too. Don't worry, I didn't actually wear this out I refuse to leave the house without at least two coats. I wish I was referring to Coco Chanel in my title but I'm talking about the clown because apparently that's who I look like in these. Never mind, I still love them so despite the annoying side zip (whhhhhy do side zips exist, they just add bulk and nobody wants that.) It's just too chilly to wear them out though, boo!
Not that I've even been going out much, I got ill again so my lung function at CF clinic on Tuesday wasn't very good and I've lost a lot of weight. I'm on tablets and I think they're working so hopefully another round of IVs can wait for a good while yet! I'm finding it really hard to get out and about because the cold really affects my breathing soooo it got me thinking about how it's about time I learnt to drive! I've been doing all my physio, tablets and nebulisers by myself since I was about 10 and all my own IVs (when I'm well enough) for a few years now and I think that driving would be the next step in becoming more independent when it comes to dealing with CF. It'd be so much easier than waiting in the cold for buses and I hate relying on my mum and other people to take me to hospital appointments and I find it really tiring having to take long journeys on public transport so it'd just be better. I could even try and get a job closer to home at places that take 10 minutes by car to get to but waaaay longer by bus, I'm talking hours (which is kinda odd really!) And I hopefully wanna move out one day but I wouldn't want to unless I could drive. I'm quite excited about it now but the reason I haven't done it before is because I'm so scared! But I'm 20, need to man up don't I?!

Firstly, LOVE those trousers, they're amazing!
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I'm sorry to hear you've been not great! I know what it's like to be affected by the weather as my mother suffers from MS and she always finds life so much harder in the heat! I hope you're feeling better soon Josie! And definitely learn to drive! I passed this year at the grand old age of 22 and it really is a weight off the shoulders! I still need a car, but still, a drivers license is always handy, and seems like it would be extra handy for you! xxx
I love those trousers, you look absolutely gorgeous. I do hope you feel better soon! And good luck with the driving, it's definitely a revelation in terms of independence :-) xxx

These trousers are fantastic! I've been thinking about getting some check pants, but worried about pulling off such a bold look- you do it so stylishly!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the cold and your CF. And, as for driving, I didn't pass my test until I was 20 (21 maybe even.?) and to this day I'm still a nervous driver and have yet to go on the motorway!

You should definitely take driving lessons Josie, it's not as bad as you'd think :) you soon get used to it! I say this, but I took my driving lessons when I was 18 and now I'm almost 25 and do I have my license? Nope! I wimped out of the test!! But I'm going to put it on my resolutions for next year I think :) I hope the tablets are helping you to feel better lovely. It is bloody freezing, I'm seriously thinking of investing in some thermals haha xxx
