burgundy new balance, granite kanken mini
Bag - Kanken Mini via Olive Clothing | Shoes - New Balance

Snippets of a boring work outfit. Definitely looked like a hipster beg too but I was well comfy! The jumper was a bargain £7.99 in the men's department and has served me well for longer then I care to admit. I stopped wearing my New Balance for a little while but I've fallen back in love with them. I think they look equally as good worn casually like this as they do with sharper, more tailored pieces...and never mind how nippy it is outside, you gotta have that flash of ankle. I was annoyed at first that I'd accidentally ordered the Kanken Mini instead of the full sized one but there's no regrets now because despite it's dinky size it fits so much in it. And things are always way cuter in miniature.

I finally got my flu jab which basically knocked me out...there was actual drilling going on outside my bedroom door but I slept through it. Amazing stuff, I wish I could have sleep like that every night. In more exciting news my Nan and Grandad have come over from Ireland and I cannot wait to see them! Hopefully I'll see them this weekend but I'm not sure when because they're going to see Family Fortunes haha.

  21. I wish I could pull off trainers with my daytime outfits as well as you do, I love my Nikes, they are my comfiest shoes but they always just look wrong with my everyday outfits, the closest I get is leather hi-tops, but they're not really 'trainers' more sneakers! I love the bag too, the little fox logo is the cutest! :) Have a nice time with your Gran & Grandad!

  22. I love your coat! And I think the kanken mini looks like a good size, when I was considering buying one (and never yet actually done it) I thought the mini might be a good idea. I have needles, so never get any flu protection lol!

  25. Men's clothes are far too comfy on us girls haha, I've recently taken to wearing my boyfriend's checked cotton button up PJ shirt in the evenings for extra warmth! You really are the only lady I know stylish enough to pull off trainers so well in your everyday wear! I hope you have a lovely time with your nan and grandad, catching up with family is the best :) xxx p.s. Family Fortunes is pretty awesome haha
