FASHION | Trippppppin'

Coat - Uniqlo | Jumper - Daisy Street via ASOS | Denim - Monki | Boots - Isabel Marant | Bag - Mulberry

Scarf - Primark (and I'm not bragging but apart from my brows I'm not wearing make up here and I wanna share my new fave tip....coconut oil! I don't suffer from spots really but since I've been using it on my face a few nights a week my skin has been goooood, totally cleared up the annoying redness I used to get around my nose. Try it!)

Hi! How are you? And why are my photos so skinny? Ayayayyyyy. But guess who went profesh and bought a tripod? Yeah, ME *clicks fingers*

Well I suppose I've not been blogging too much, I think I've caught another chest infection which I'm hoping to get rid of with just tablets because it's definitely too soon for more IVs! I have just about enough energy to go to see friends and family and to go to work but as soon as I'm indoors I just want my bed, I haven't even been on the laptop really so I gotta whole lotta blogs to catch up on! All of my outfits have been super lazy too...grey jumpers, comfy jeans and Dicker boots (when it's not raining!) And my new Primark scarf which moults like mad but is so warm and cute and huge. I didn't see much in Primark but they had this gorgeous Stella-esque jumper, just not in my size. And I was like:

Uh! Whhhhhy? Uh! Whhhhhy? Uh! Whhhhhhy Lay-deeeee?

And my friend was like 'Mate, just walk away you're embarrassing me.' I was sad but I'm just gonna have to get over it because there's no way I'm venturing back into Primark until 2014 if I can help it, shopping in there is just too stressy.

Um apart from that massively interesting story about a jumper that was not meant to be I guess I don't have too much to tell you. Although I was walking down Oxford Street on Sunday in my pink coat listening to Iggy Azalea all like 'Yeahhhh, I'm so cool!' and then SMACK, I fell down. In front of many people and onto a man's foot, a man who was trying to sleep. He was so angry but it wasn't like I did it on purpose.

Anyway, what's new with you?

  4. Josie you look gorgeous! Love the neutral colours on you :) your scarf is fab! I don't venture into Primark much but I hear they have a PJ sale on (a Primark sale?!) and I need to get some kids ones for Christmas, so I'm preparing myself for braving it haha. I'm going to have to invest in some coconut oil, my skin has quite a few red patches so it's worth a go! Though I'd be worried about how oily my skin might go, but I guess if I wear it overnight it wouldn't be too bad :) poor you with the fall on the sleeping guy!! I'd have ran away straight away haha xxx

  5. This is how you dress up a pair of jeans and sweater, you look fantastic Josie, the chic coat and beautiful scarf are great statements. I know how terrible it is when the one thing you really want in a store is never in your size :( It gives us free reign to scream and shout and act completely dramatically. Uh oh about falling down, I had a pair of heels that did that to me once, no thrice in the same night!!

  6. I've missssed you! Get better STAT. Love the oversized scarf, shame it gets around haha. I can also relate to your story because sometimes my pals tell me to use my inside voice. ;)

  7. Ahaha I fall over all the time! I've fallen over twice so far in Paris and I've only been here for two and a half months! Once I smashed my phone and a sweet lady ran over to help me and the other time outside a club... BAM in front of all the people queuing!!
Your autumn/winter style is just a dream! I love how you dress :') I feel your pain over the Stella sweater but, surprisingly, M&S has a pretty good Stella imitation I have my eye on!!

  12. Oh does coconut oil really work then? A friend suggested it but I was a bit dubious. I understand hair hot oil treatments but I was a little unsure of putting oil on my face... if it cures redness then it sounds like worth a shot! x x

  20. That scarf is too cool Josie, I'm more than a little bit in love with it! Don't worry about the tripping, once I managed to get myself wedged between a bus and it's doors while about twenty people looked on, that was very cringe haha!! Sorry to hear you aren't well, big hugs and here's to you feeling better asap <3

  25. AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH this outfit. so bright and lovely. Your makeup is SO gorgeous. Really amazing. I think if you wanted to you could wear a burgundy lipstick and be extra dramatic. but either way you're gorgeous. And I agreeeee. I love using a tripod, it's so much easier!

  27. I always get jealous of some of the great things people seem to find in Primark, but totally agree, shopping in there is a nightmare! I avoid it unless there's something specific I want, it's always packed even when none of the other shops are! One of my friends mentioned coconut oil (and another which I forgot) to me a few days ago, saying how amazing it was... I want to try it but I'm just nervous that being an oil it'll make my skin even worse! Eeek. I wish my skin looked this good without makeup on, gorgeous!

  29. You look so adorable and warm! Primark is a bit...intense haha! and as for the quality...but its just soooooooo cheap, that is is kind of tempting! Not that I have to worry about buying stupid things now im back in australia as we dont have primark (or anything cheap...seriously, everything is so expensive here!) You should try to get to dublin btw, and funnily enough if I get to go back to Ireland, one place I feel I need to go is Donnegal! I have been there technically, but only like just over the border, and didnt see much of it all (I was there maybe an hour haha? And saw some random courthouse/jail)
