FASHION | Favourite Outfits of 2013

Pictures via my Pinterest. Some of these outfit posts have since been taken down off the blog (although I still have them for me to see...could never delete them, they're memories!) If you want to know any outfit details, feel free to ask! Also, I miss taking photos by that wall, the light was goooood!

The Pink Coat: A bit of a surprise buy really, pink is my favourite colour but I don't often wear it! It's actually been a lot more versatile and wearable then I would've originally thought and I look forward to wearing it well into Spring.
The Red Breton: As you know, I love my breton tops and this one has been my favourite. It's proved to be just as versatile as black and navy versions and at £9 it was definitely one of my best buys.
The Leather Skirt: This vintage gem was actually a buy from 2012, sadly it's a little too snug now but I'd love to find another leather skirt in the same a-line shape because I think it was really flattering. Gonna take a while to track one down as perfect as this!
The White Blazer: I don't often wear white as it just doesn't suit me, however this is more of an off white and looks great with all black outfits.
The Navy Coat: Ahh, the famous Zara coat that everyone and their mother bought! When I saw it online for a bargain £29.99 I had to snap it up right away and it's just perfect.
The Half Top Knot: I'm actually still undecided whether my hair looks silly or, dare I say it, kinda cool here but I kinda like it. Was the simplest way to update outfits this summer without spending a penny!
The Hawaiian Dress: I'm not much of a dress person at all, it's rare that I see a dress that I like and want to wear. This was just £15 from River Island and a little 'inspired' shall we say by a gorgeous Vanessa Bruno one I'd seen Rosie Huntington-Whitely in. So timeless and was a godsend during this summer's freaky heatwave.
The Scalloped Shorts: Like dresses, it's hard to find shorts that I feel comfortable in but these are perfect. Silky, lightweight, elasticated waist and scalloped edges!! What more could you want?
The Patchwork Jeans: Took me ages to track these down. Not everyone's cup of tea but I love them!
The Perfect Sweater: I own four of these Uniqlo sweaters now, they really are perfect. This is a very typical, comfy, every day outfit.

Here's my favourite outfits of the year. Nothing groundbreaking or all that exciting but things that I've felt very 'me' in. I think that this year I definitely found my style, and it was almost by accident! I have a post on this and my shopping plan for 2014 coming up soon. In the meantime, let me know if you've done a 'Year in Outfits' post or something similar, I've been loving reading them!

Oh by the way, my hair in yesterday's post took hardly any effort at all...I just grabbed a section of hair, backcombed it a couple of times with a Tangle Teezer (so quick and easy to backcomb with!) clipped in place and tied up in a pony, literally took 5 minutes. Nowhere near as fiddly as it seems, give it a go! Don't worry about it being messy, messy is GOOD.
