LIFESTYLE | Little Things

This is going to be a bit of a picture heavy one today but there were lots of nice things about last week despite it being a challenging one...you know when you just receive lots of bad news all at once? I think of myself as a lucky person in general because although I have CF and it sucks apart from that I'm very grateful for the things and people that I do have. We all have our bad times and it's just my turn at the moment although I'm trying to not worry about it too much because having my own health problems and seeing a family member so ill definitely gives you perspective and makes you realise that none of the other stuff really matters all too much. Although I'm still worrying about the people I care about, it's horrible when they go through tough times! Anyway, onto the Little Things that have kept this week positive (sorry that they're all from my instagram!)

British Lifestyle Blog, Moon, Summer, Instagram
It staying light til late.

Wearing little dresses (despite not usually being a dress person) because the weather was so glorious...until the weekend at least! Dress - Oasis

I have a bit of an obsession with stamps which is a loserish thing really but they're so fun and really effective! I got the little birds one from Wilkinson's of all places for only £2.50, if you're into crafting I definitely recommend checking them out because they have loads of cheap but good quality supplies. The alphabet ones off of eBay were £9.60 although you can get them cheaper if you're willing to wait a few weeks (impatient me wasn't!) I love them and I'll be using them for my Etsy store.

I went to a Mexican with my family and had a Freddy Fudpucker (I had to right?) It was some kind of banana cocktail and it was SO good.

Talking of Freddy this lil' dawg has been giving lots of cuddles, something I'm always grateful for. You say 'Where's your belly?' and he rolls and lifts his paw, he's so funny!

Rocky Road Chocolate Cake at this adorable little cafe near my house that sells all this cute shabby chic stuff. I need to learn how to make this, the filling was some kind of marshmallow thing and it was amazing.

Finally, to end the week a reunion with my two best friends. We don't manage to get together all that often because one of them lives really far away (I miss her already!) but when we do we definitely make the most of it as you can see!

What were the highlights of your week? Let me know if you've done a similar post, I'm feeling absolutely crummy so a day of blog reading and commenting lies ahead I think!

Sending so much love your way darling. I have to admit this post makes me love you so much more. Your positve outlook no matter what gets thrown at you. Most would let it sink them-I know I've fallen victim to it before-but you continue to feel gratitude and see the blessings no matter what. Such a beautiful quality to posses.

  28. Sending you lots of well wishes lovely <3

I adore this post and all the beautiful pictures you've chosen, that little tiny moon is so adorbs for starters! Your stamp collection find is a real treasure, it looks like a quirky, cute gift you mind find in a vintage/trinket shop, so for you to come across that in Wilkinson's is pretty darn amazing ;)

And as for Rocky Road Chocolate Cake? How have I not known this existed before :O ;)
