LIFESTYLE | Week #1

bichon frise mug
Like who thinks a peeing Bichon Frise would be a good idea to put on a cup? I think it's so funny!

So I was absolutely buzzing New Year, all full of motivation then I came right back down to Earth with this fluey thing that's been going around. It's boosome because it means I haven't been able to meet my niece yet! I'm sooo jealous of everyone who has haha! So I've been like a mad woman doing physio 5x a day and loads of nebs to try and get better. She has a name now by the way, she's Florence but will be known as Florrie. It is now my favourite name in all the world!

So instead of having cuddles with bubba this is mainly what I've been up to this week:

I watched | 'Mr Morgan's Last Love' mainly because I love Michael Caine! Set in Paris an old widower has basically given up on life until he meets a young French lady (Clemence Poésy.) To be honest it was kinda rubbish and Caine's American accent is quite atrocious but it did have Gillian Anderson in it briefly, who I think is always fantastic.

I ate | A whole lotta chocolate! My brother bought me a giant strawberry cream Quality Street full of just the red ones...I know right, HEAVEN. What's your favourite flavour?

I wore | Pyjamas, obvs. What else to wear when ill?

I bought | A shiny new blog design from pipdig! Was thinking about it for ages and decided to treat myself (because I never do that...ahem.) Seriously, if you're thinking of getting a new look for your blog check them out. SO helpful and you can get it installed for you for free if you're a techno n00b like me!

I loved | Discovering Natalie's blog Thunderlove. It's just really lovely, I like that there's usually just one photo per post and it's just so easy to read.

What have you been up to this week? Hope 2015 has got off to a lovely start for you!

  57. Florence? What a gorgeous name!
You had me at Gillian Anderson. That woman...holy smokes.

I did not know that a giant Quality Street with my favourites in, exists! I need that in my life.
High fives for new layouts! Yours is loooovely. I snapped one up last night myself (from Etsy).

I've just been getting back into the swing of uni, but it's all funny because it's the end of the first semester still, and we're kind of not really in, yet expected to get on with a lot as well. It's confusing :(
