LIFESTYLE | Week #2

The cosiest place on Earth

This week has been a bit of a funny one, it started off SO happily because I met my bubba niece on Monday...she's so dinky and cute and I can't wait for more cuddles. But then I was feeling rubbish again and by the weekend I felt pooped! When I get ill sometimes my joints get really painful, they said it's probably CF-related arthritis. Whatever it is it's horrid and makes it hard to walk so I've pretty much been staying in bed with all my pillows! Such a bummer because I had fun plans for yesterday and today, I feel disappointed when I have to miss out but more than that I hate being a letdown and having to cancel last minute. People are always so kind and understanding but still, I must be such a pain in the ass!

Anyway, here's more of the good things that happened this week:

I watched | Season 1 of 'The Killing' (US version.) I wanted to watch the Danish original but couldn't be bothered with subtitles, however the US one has been impressive. I think Mireille Enos is fantastic and the story is gripping, if a little slow at times.

I read | 'Shantaram' by Gregory David Roberts. My brother lent me this, he said it's one of the only books he's ever bothered to read so I had high expectations! I did really enjoy it, I think I'll be doing a full review soon.

I bought | ALL the pink things for baby Florrie, can't wait to see her again soon!

I loved | tomhardyholdingdogs on Instagram. Don't think I need to explain quite why I love this so much, whoever made it is crazy but I thank them.

Love this weekly roundup kind of post :) Little babies are soo cute eh? They just brighten the day. I think everyone who you had plans with would completely understand- they'd rather you be comfortable and not strain your joints. I hope this week is good for you xx
