So I thought you might appreciate a little update on my Curated Closet Challenge. As previously mentioned in February I well and truly slipped! But I've always said I wasn't going to be too strict with myself, if a pick me up is needed then so be it...and after a month in hospital a shopping sesh was most definitely gonna happen. I have no regrets because everything I got is a little different to what I already own (ie no grey jumpers, skinny denim or sneakers) and it's great to have some wardrobe updates for Spring. What I've bought will feature on here in outfit posts at some point but here's a rundown of my haul:
New Look Stripe Shirt & New Look Pinstripe Sleeveless Top (both pictured above)
I had a voucher to spend and it took me ages to choose there were that many lovely pieces in! In the end I got these two, you know I love a striped top and these vertical stripes make a nice difference to my usual ones. They're a soft and light material and I'm going to be living in them this Spring/Summer.
Uniqlo Long Sleeved Blouse (pictured above)
I've wanted one of these for the longest time! I have a white linen shirt that I love but the material isn't always suitable so I got this slightly sheer version. It feels gorgeous to wear and I can see it becoming an important staple in my wardrobe.
GAP Green Knit (seen in this outfit post)
I'm not usually one for colour but this olive shade is one I can handle! It was a fab sale find and I think it's gonna look great with black leather.
Zara Smock Top (seen on my instagram)
I can't find this online and my instagram pic isn't very clear but if you look instore at their Special Prices bit it's a black smock top with a v-neck and pleats at the front, I believe it was about £20 although I had vouchers from Christmas (yeaaah boi!) I thought I'd have to return this as it's not my usual thing but I absolutely love it and it's my favourite buy of the month (possibly because you can eat ALL the food when you're wearing it.) Coming to an outfit post soon!
I also bought a couple of necklaces (this & this) so I've definitely been treating myself. I've also been sent a gorgeous Boohoo dress that'll be in a post this Friday so come back for that if you want proof that I'm not always in jeans! But I didn't buy anything in January and I'm not planning to shop in March so it's all good. I'll defo shop in April though, because then it's my birthday and I'mma spend my moneeey.
What did you buy in February? I bet you're like 'I damn knew she couldn't stick to her challenge!!' haha!

That green knit top is so awesome. And it isn't that bright so, I don't think you would need to think twice before wearing it because of your reluctance to buy different colors. Well, that's what I inferred from this post. This is my first visit to your blog. So, I am not really sure if that's your taste. But the outfits are really good. :)
