LIFESTYLE | Week #11

southwark cathedral, london
A beautiful, unfiltered sky and Southwark Cathedral

Hey! How are you? This week has been really good, thanks to the good weather my health has been much better...I managed to do a 43% lung function at the hospital and after being stuck at around 30% ish since October it was so fab to see it go up! I gave up a lot of things like working etc to make sure I could look after myself as well as possible and I do hours of meds and treatment a day but have still been really ill on oxygen and that the past few months which can be a bit disheartening sometimes, so to see that there are occasional times when my lungs behave themselves reminds me that all the hard work is worth it! So I've been making the most of it, this week has been super busy and I'm knackered now! But this Tuesday I'm having my sinus surgery because I'm finally well enough (bit annoying, feel a bit better after all this time but still have to go on IVs and stay in hospital!) so next week is gonna be quiet. But here's what I did!

I went | To the #LandGGamesNight for a night of Monopoly, prosecco and Domino's! Strange combo maybe, but a fun one. All I wanted was to own Old Kent Road because it's the road I grew up on haha! Trust it to be the cheapest one though -_- Chynna's done a fab post on the night if you wanna check it out! Then yesterday I went to the #SpringBlogMeet which was so lovely, it was great to catch up with people and meet some new ones too! Thank you Jasmin and Maryam for organising!  After that I met my friend and we popped into The Clink Prison Museum before dinner, it was interesting but I was so scared of all the dummies haha.

I bought | A Topshop tee because I had a voucher for my birthday. It's this one if you're interested, I know...I'm a French beg :(

I ate | I went out for dinner a lot this week, the Nando's on Clink Street was a highlight though because the decor in there is so cool! Useless me forgot to take a photo though, sowee.

I pinned | A bit of Jane Birkin because when it comes to summer style she's my number one icon.

I loved | Helen's Accessories Update, I want every single thing! Especially the Isabel Marant Bobby sneakers, although boring me would probably be better off with a black pair. But I can't wait to see how Helen styles hers!

I hope you've had a good week too! Tell me the best meal you've eaten! Before I go one of my closest and bestest friends is doing a swimathon for Marie Curie and Cystic Fibrosis, so I'll leave the link to her donation page in case anyone feels like being charitable ;)

  1. I love Jane Birkin's style, I wish I had her elegance and fabulous body :)

On another note today it is a great, sunny day here up in Scotland so I cannot wait to go out for lunch with my boyfriend. As we are in the countryside there is no Nando's but any pub meal will make me equally happy :)
