LIFESTYLE | Week #14

Clothes-wise I'm not bringing much at all to Ireland! We'll see if I regret this when I get there...

Hey! How are you? So I went to the hospital three times this week to make sure I could definitely go to Ireland today and it was a YES, woohoo! I've been getting weird back and chest pains that have stopped me sleeping and also doing my chest physio properly, an x-ray didn't show anything up and the phsiotherapist (aka physioterrorist) didn't find anything either so I must look like a big fat liar haha! I have to say that physio appointment was torture because I am the most ticklish person in the world but luckily for me for once I didn't embarrass myself by giggling. So they just gave me some tablet antibiotics just in case it is a chest infection (I'm on cipro and they're kind of evil because they make you feel like crap and make you moody too) and also really strong painkillers which have left me so high, I won't lie to you. I'm like full on Kerry Katona when she was on This Morning, gonna be good when I try get on the plane later today ain't haha!

Anyway here's what else this week has comprised of!

I went | Other than the hospital nowhere really apart from my aunt's new house! It's so good she's finally moved closer to me, now I need to somehow convince my brother, grandparents and best friends to move this way too and we shall all be together forever.

I bought | That marble tray from H&M Home. Yep, this one. I know I'm a cliché but to be fair I do have marble drawer handles on my dressing table which I've had for two years so I basically started this trend ok ;) Let us pray it arrives in one piece, I've had no problem ordering clothes but I've heard horror stories about the homeware delivery.

I watched | I watched Winter's Bone, Losing Isaiah and Begin Again yesterday. WB was grim but brilliant (I have a review of the book coming up in the week), LI had a brilliant cast (Jessica Lange, Halle Berry, Cuba Gooding Jr, Samuel L Jackson) but I felt it could've been better. BA was better than I thought it'd be, awful music and I didn't rate Keira Knightley's singing but I thought it was a charming film!

I loved | Did you know that this week is ME Awareness Week? I urge you to check out Meg and Hayley's video, it's really informative and both of them have actually taught me a lot about this awful illness through videos like this and also their blogs (here's Hayley's and here's Meg's!) Like a lot of people I thought that chronic fatigue was the only symptom, I had no idea about the pain etc. These girls and the many other people suffering from this are absolute heroes!
Also, while you're having a lazy Sunday browse of YouTube it'd mean a lot if you could check out this short video on Cystic Fibrosis and organ donation - Holly, who is in the film, also writes a fantastic blog about living with Cystic Fibrosis. She's actually recovering from a double lung transplant earlier in the year and has blogged all about the process. I will warn you it's upsetting at times but this is what people with CF have to go through! But she's doing fantastically well now and is even going to compete in the British Transplant Games - she's such a superstar!

Well I actually organised some posts to go up while I'm away, I was proud of this achievement until I started talking about Holly and now I see it's not much to be proud of haha! I'll try not to be online much while I'm away but I'm sure I'll be instagramming and I'm going to do my best to do some kind of travel diary thing when I get back. Have a good week and speak soon!
