Summer Outfit Inspiration

Hey! Sorry for the slightly later post, my internet has been a nightmare. Anyway as you're well aware it's June already, crazy how this month is flying by but hopefully now we'll finally have a bit of sunshine and won't have to wrap up in a gazillion layers just to pop to the corner shop. In preparation of this wonderful time of year I've put together a little inspo post of my favourite summer looks that I hope to be channelling this year. Read more after the jump, all pics via pinterest.

Sorry, it bugs the hell out of me too that the pictures aren't the same size. So lots of denim, white and a little bit of khaki (because I'm obsessed with my new jacket!) If I keep things simple in winter then I do so even more in summer, I love how fuss free it is. Still keeping a bit of layering though because I'm not forgetting the fact that I live in the UK...I always like to try and reference Jane Birkin and Jeanne Damas a little bit too, not that I look half as amazing as they do!

Are you excited for summer? Who are your summer style icons?

  16. I love a-line shape skirts and have always thought the button down style is so cute. And this reminds me, my sister's style reminds me a lot of yours lately, I will have to link her to you. She's a big fan of Jeanne's style and I told her 'I know this girl who looks a lot like her!' (you) and she agreed.

Great inspiration post! I tend to go all 1950's inspired when in the sun with high waisted bikinis and full skirts etc. but considering I live in Ireland, it all depends on the weather ! x
