Week #26

Well whatta week! Definitely been a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions but for now I'm feeling quite calm. I feel like this may be a bit of a long 'un! I got some pretty life changing news.

I'll start off with the obvious, I've changed my blog name! I posted why etc here :-)

Next was an amazing high, on Monday night I went to see Florence + The Machine at Alexandra Palace in London. She was even better than I ever could have imagined, what an incredible lady. Amazing voice, amazing stage presence - I cried haha! Seriously though she's just my idol. I don't listen to a huge range of music, I tend to just stick to bands I love and I wouldn't go and just see anyone live just because it's live music but I absolutely had the best night ever. There is room for everyone in the music business but so many female artists are just naked singing stuff like 'Twerktwerktwerk, licklicklick, heeheehee' or whatever and it's mighty boring and unoriginal! But she's so unique and talented. I'm so cheesy but honestly it was magical!

Had a bit of disappointment at the end of night though, you may have seen my tweet about it. Don't really have the energy to go into it now and there are more important things I need to tell you anyway but I'm definitely taking it further! I don't want this man to ever make anyone in need of help feel the way he made me feel. I'm not one to complain or have a chip on my shoulder about being ill but I really do think he failed to do his job and that he was discriminating against me just because my illness isn't visible (even though an oxygen tank should be a pretty clear indication someone is ill...)

But anyway on Wednesday I had my appointment at Harefield, the transplant hospital, and got told that I officially need new lungs. Beforehand I tried to prepare myself for bad news but it was still a massive shock - I was really hoping they'd say I was too well at the moment! So I spent a few days feeling completely heartbroken but yesterday I woke up feeling happy again and like myself - a day spent with family and lots of baby Florrie cuddles on Friday definitely helped. I have loads to tell you about Wednesday so I'll pop a post up tomorrow.

I hope you've had a good week! And remember if you and your loved ones have their health you have everything :-)
