FASHION | Busy Bee

Jacket - ASOS | Hat - H&M | Jumper - Uniqlo | Denim - Next | Boots - Topshop | Necklace - Accessorize

Well I was kind of a busy bee. Clearly too busy to move that box out of the way before I took these photos! For the first time in months I woke up without feeling exhausted and chesty and all round CFffy (yup, it's a medical term) and it felt GOOD. I managed to sort out my room, although not the chaos behind those sliding doors (you can see some of it trying to escape in the last picture!) I sorted out my jewellery and was so happy to have found this little necklace that I thought I'd lost, it was only a really cheap sale buy last January from Accessorize but I absolutely love it. I have quite a lot of nice jewellery, I must make more of an effort to wear more of it. The rest of this outfit was weirdly inspired by Peaches Geldof's husband, I think he's a snappy dresser and few can rock a fedora as well as him. I don't know why I'm so obsessed with Peaches and her family and her instagram. I only started following because she has a cute dog (see how easily swayed I am?) I don't particularly like her, any babies in general or the smug, No1 Mum vibes but I'm just seriously obsessed to the point where I bring them up in general conversations sometimes like I know them. It's weird and I need to stop. But seriously, check her instagram out and see if she sucks you in too with her witchy powers.

BUT back to my feeling good...after I'd done all my chores I took Freddy to the park and planned to go out somewhere myself after but he made me feel guilty! I was about to leave and he was whining and looking at me like 'Josie, why u leave me home alone??' So I stayed, that dog has me wrapped round his little paw. How bad is that? He would've been home alone for two hours max which is perfectly fine, all he did when I stayed in was sleep anyway. So I had a nap too. If you can't beat em, join them!

Look at that face! It's like he knows the power he has over me. But this was on Friday so I went out yesterday instead, I'll tell you allllll about it soon!

  8. 1. I'm so glad you woke up feeling good! It must be terrible to start the day on a negative note, you're so brave when you wake up feeling crap.
    2. I love that necklace! Accessorize sale finds are ALWAYS amazing though, I've found some gems (pun not intended) in there in the past.
    3. This is perhaps my favourite outfit of yours EVER. Love all the pieces, and how you're wearing them. Effortless chic epitomised.
    4. RED LIPSTICK. That is all.

It also got to the point where I had liked so many of her pictures my boyfriend noticed on his news feed and actually questioned why i was liking so many photos of peaches geldofs baby! Slightly awks!

Your skin looks amazee too btw!

  14. Glad you're feeling better, and that hat suits you soo much! I'm also 'under the paw'... So many times I've got ready to go out & then Nico looks at me with his big sad eyes & whines... And I just go 'arghh... Fine!' & sit on the sofa with him! He is such a guilt-tripper! Haha.

  15. Aaah could Freddy be any cuter?! The hat + boots + overcoat combo looks insane! My huge overcoat has basically become my second skin recently (i think i might have been slightly influenced by the new series of Sherlock in that respect though...haha!)
