GAP - £39.99

I gots new shoes! A little funkier than my usual thing but they've been on my wishlist for months. You may have noticed that I live in my black ponyskin slip ons and have been craving a leo pair after too much browsing on pinterest, specifically to wear with my pink coat (leopard and pink should be as tacky as it gets but there's something about it that just works.) I've been trying to track down this pair in my size for ages so when I found them on a last minute dash to GAP before a trip to the cinema (saw Cuban Fury and although Chris O'Dowd and Olivia Coleman were excellent it wasn't very funny) I was pretty stoked. As with the black pair I sized up and they're super comfy, no need to break these in at all. They're lairier than my usual choice of shoe but I think they add a bit of interest to all black outfits and when I eventually find the perfect loose but not too boyfriend-like denim (tried Mom jeans, LOL is all I can say) they'll look good with them when the weather warms up a little. Have to say Gap has really impressed me the last few months, not only are the basics brilliant they've been making some really unique accessories that look way more expensive than their high street price tags. The online store is a bit poop but it's definitely worth popping in store and checking them out.

What do you think of the shoes? How would you style them?

  1. Have not been to the Gap in ages. Must change this soon. I love these shoes, Josie! I'd wear them with everything.

  2. I've not bought much from Gap over the last couple of years as I thought it was pretty bad quality for the price, but maybe it's time to give them a second chance! I love these and wouldn't mind pair myself to add to my leopard print shoe collection (can't have too many Pairs :)) I agree with Emmylou...wear they with everything!

I think I would wear them with a dress in a clashing print and just be delightfully over-the-top

  15. I really wanted to buy these shoes but they were all sold out here in Canada & online. I ended up buying the Steve Madden lookalikes which I love!! They are such cool shoes aren't they? I can't wait until the weather heats up a bit so I can wear them.
