FASHION | Moving On Up

Coat - Uniqlo | Shirt - Uniqlo | Trousers - H&M | Shoes - Topshop | Bag - Mulberry

Hihi! You ok? Still living in these trousers, my absolute faves. I can't believe I'm saying this but I may actually be over skinnies :O At least for now anyway. I'm even considering (a thousand years too late) getting a pair of Mom jeans. I know!

My results of the scan yesterday came back a little worse than I was expecting, my sinuses are full of rubbish which is quite common with CF. The whole condition basically means your body produces too much mucus (ew I'm sorry, but no one said CF was sexy) which is why my lungs are so bad but it also affects other things too, such as sinuses. The doctor said looking at my scan alone he would guess an operation was needed but he asked how I was feeling with them and I genuinely don't feel like they've been as much as a problem since I got this nose spray thing so we've decided to leave it for now and go back in six months to see what's what. I just don't think they're causing me so much trouble that an op is needed, at least for the time being, as the only time they really stop me breathing properly is when I have a cold or something. And also I think my tablets are working already so I'm not struggling to breathe as much which makes life a lot more comfy and my lungs aren't hurting so much with all the effort of trying to breathe, although they're still very sore. So I'm happy things seem like they're getting better! *does a little dance*...*curls up in a ball on the bed because I'm still not well enough to do any kind of dancing*...*gets breath back*...*aaaaand relax!*

So today I'm going to my little cousin's birthday thingy, he's three! Time goes so fast. He's so clever, he can name all the dinosaurs but all I know is a T-Rex. I only got him t-shirts, I think that's so boring and I wish I'd got him something to play with now! I'm sure he'll get plenty of toys though. What have you got planned this weekend?

  1. Oh Josie, I'm sorry the results weren't too wonderful :( But you're a fighter, and you're so strong, you have such a great attitude about all of this <3
I absolutely love your outfit, so so chic! You look like you should be treading the streets of Paris, or in a film.
I haven't got anything planned for this weekend as I have mock exams next week, eeeek. So nervous! xx

  3. Oh hello beautiful lady. I'm glad the op could be postponed for now, and hopefully you won't need to have it at all! I hope the tablets keep on working and the nose spray does the job too. Over... skinnies?!! I don't think I'll ever be over skinnies, but I'm with you on the mom style jeans. I bought a pair of awkwardly fitting Maison Scotch jeans in TK Maxx a while ago, planning to wear them when the weather gets a bit warmer. They're definitely mom style, but I think they look so laid back and casual. Sometimes it's nice to wear something a little looser! I hope you have the best time at your cousin's birthday bash, I'm the same and usually fall back on clothes for kids presents, I can't help it, kids clothes are so cute!! xxx

You do rock the hell outta those trousers.. although over skinnies, gosh I wish I was haha don't think I will ever move on from them :-/ Maybe that's because of my tragic past with flares though *cringe*.

That's so cute about your little cousin and as I read this I realised I only knew to name a T Rex too haha... it feels like a long time ago I learnt about dinosaurs (makes me feel like one eeek!) Hope you have a wonderful time with your family xo

  12. I hope you continue to feel better! I know from chronic fatigue how annoying it is being out of breath over nothing. As for your little cousin, I usually end up getting clothes as gifts for my little cousins as well (there's just so much cute stuff) and my aunt and uncle are always so appreciative for it. I'm the kind of person who can't help putting a practical edge on gifts so it's nice to give something you know will be useful! x
