Looking back I think this outfit is a little busy! The blouse was my Mum's that she didn't want any more, I liked it at the time but looking back on this outfit post I don't think I'm going to keep it. I probably won't, I'm not sure it's very 'me.'
I'm not sure what is me (eurgh, I just have Carol Voderman saying 'isme.com' stuck in my head now) I'm feeling a bit stuck with my wardrobe. I just want to wear the same things over and over which I guess is no bad thing but maybe boring for you...sowee! But I've been feeling a bit bleurgh about myself and my life and my blog and my hair in general all February, I've spent the majority of it on antibiotics and steroids because CF has been a right bean and I think that's what's making my mood all funny. But I finish the steroids soon so hopefully I'll be feeling back to my normal self and will stop putting myself down and feeling miserable for no reason! Steroids are absolutely crazy things anyway, they make you eat like a beast...like last night I had three chicken breasts, two big sweet potatoes and a load of vegetables but a few hours later I was starving again so had a rack of ribs. I'm quite proud of myself though, usually when my Mum is away I get so lazy and only eat ready meals but I've cooked every meal from scratch...really simple meals but better for me probably. Part of me wants to tell my Mum so she'll be proud of me but then what if she makes me cook for everyone? That's so selfish of me haha.
But today my Mum and stepdad return from Spain, it's been so nice having some alone time for a few days but it'll be good to see them. Freddy especially misses them when they're gone so I'm glad they're back for his sake! I don't think I'm going to actually see them properly until Sunday though, I'll be out for dinner tonight when they come back and then at work until Sunday!
great look hun!

I don't think this outfit is busy at all. And u know, my fave bloggers are usually the ones who wear the same kind of outfits everyday. I think it's totally ok. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you should proud of all that cooking:)
I actually really like this look, I think the shapes and proportions are beautiful and the coat is gorgeous! It's just a very, very nice outfit. Your cooking adventures made me smile and happy - meds or not, it's nice when you have good appetite AND prep all the food at home. I definitely think your mum would be very happy about that, too. x
ReplyDeleteI really love this look, especially the coat!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great post :)

I really like the blouse tucked it and those stylin' boots! Btw, I totz want all the Isabel Marant wedge sneakers too. DIES. Take it from me, if you brag about your mad cooking skills you will get forced to cook for others. I cooked Christmas lunch for the first time ever (it was aweeesome) and now I'm done for. I'm going to be pulled into the kitchen for the rest of my life when I should be sat in my PJ's, Instagramming snaps of my booty. SIGH. I hope you feel better when the steroids are finished. <3

Aw you needn't feel sad, though I know you can't help it and it's the steroids and everything that are making you feel bad- I hope you start to feel better soon, you're such a lovely person, you really don't deserve to feel down :( I don't care if you show the same outfits over and over again, it's way more realistic as I know I don't wear a new outfit every single day! I absolutely love this look, the coat is perfect! xx
ReplyDeleteAah I love that Mulberry bag! All that food sounds so good, I wish I had your appetite haha xx
ReplyDeleteI love wearing the same outfits, it just makes getting ready so much easier in the morning :-P Your dinner (x2) sounds yummy. Your mum would definitely be pleased, I wouldn't tell her either. You will probably have to start cooking all the meals!!!! Your jeans are cute.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new found cooking skills haha!

Loving these fabulous jeans, not a busy look at all, the layering is excellent. So great that you're eating well, thats a good sign. P.S I wanted to ask you and hope its okay, I was watching a doccie on tv about a girl with CF and she had a double lung transplant and now she is able to breathe much better and has her health back. Is this an option for all CF patients or only in certain extreme cases?
ReplyDeleteIn love with the coat and boots, oh my

That blouse looks great on you! Whenever I'm feeling a bit poop, I either read a book, watch funny youtube videos or read the Humans of New York blog - seriously good! Yay for cooking, dinner round yours?! haha xxx
ReplyDeleteSwooning over those gorgeous jeans! And seriously we need to talk about your cool Mum; first she crushes on Kelly Jones and now she has trendy clothes hehe!
ReplyDeleteKeep your head up lovely, you are wonderful for so many reasons (too many to name, unless you have until Christmas :P) plus your blog is bloody amazing, don't ever forget that. I can't remember a time before I stumbled across your stylish page, nor do I want to! <3

Stay positive lovely lady, I hope things pick up for you soon and that you feel better in yourself. You're far too gorgeous and stylish and lovely to be feeling bad about yourself, and everyone here agrees! Hope your mum and stepdad had a great holiday in Spain, I'm glad Freddydog will have some company for when you're at work! xxx
