FROJO DESIGNS | Cards #1

Hi! Thank you so much for the well wishes for my brother, he's still seriously unwell in intensive care but obviously I won't go into all his business on here! So just to let you know although I've decided to carry on blogging silly OOTD's and will ramble on about unimportant things it doesn't mean I'm not thinking about my brother and not going to see him in hospital...I'm just not going to put all that on here.

When I've not been at the hospital I've been mainly home alone so I decided to put that time to good use! There are a few birthdays popping up in May so I made some cards, I'm not very good (they never come out how I picture them in my head!) but at least I've progressed from making everyone cards with Freddydog on. Could just about get away with that when I was 14, but maybe not so much at 21 (although I still get the odd request for one!)

As you can see, they're very amateur! But the aim is to get good enough so that they'll be sell-able and hopefully I'll be able to raise some money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (although how I'd go about selling them I have no idea!) I've ordered some bits off of eBay and I want to get myself down to Tiger and Wilkinsons to pick up more little things. I think the 'I Love You' ones are my faves (probably because they're the easiest to do haha!)

Whaddya think?

  3. Josie these are so good, and the fact that they're homemade just makes them look super cute rather than amateur. Definitely sell-able! Hope your brother's back to good health soon xx

  4. Nice!! I like them. You could sell them on ETSY for real, or set up a big cartel shop, both are really easy.
And yes to tiger, have you ever been to hobby craft? or the range? those two shops are MEGA for card making stuff! Also get yourself down to a giant cass art, sooooo much good supplies! I look forward to seeing more :) xx

You should definitely think about selling the cards - I would definitely order some! I love the 'get well soon' cards - I find it is always hard to find tasteful ones. If you do decide to sell them I want to know so I can make an order :D xx

Thinking of you and all of your family, and sending you all my get well soon wishes and hugs. I'm glad you're going to continue blogging, and I hope you'll keep us updated on how your brother is doing, even without going into any details. Your cards are so, so sweet! I would absolutely buy something like this, and I think you should start an Etsy when you're ready :) can't wait to see more of your makes - you're very talented lovely lady! xxx

  23. Wow Josie you have a serious talent here guuurl! I've never seen such unique, quirky cards and I love how you've put your own stamp on them with the design and font, beautiful!

Nowadays I think people are all about a bit of originality instead of the usual cliche stuff the card shops seem to churn out, so it's especially lovely you're wanting to raise money for the CF Trust, and I reckon funds would be soaring in no amount of time! Go for it <3
