Dress - Oasis | Shoes - GAP (last year's) (I know I look preggars in the third photo but I promise it's just where my hand is pulling the dress!)
Well, kinda new in. I've had this for over a month now but have only just worn it, I think it's going to be a real hero piece when the weather's warm. I'm not much of a dress person, I just find them really uncomfortable and restricting however the idea of a denim dress has been on my mind for a few years now...it's just taken me all this time to find the perfect one! I never would've guessed I'd get it in Oasis but when I was on a shopping trip with my Nanny there it was. A perfect t-shirt shape, the right shade of blue and a lightweight material. It's not too short and I love how the back is just slightly longer so I don't need to worry about flashing any unfortunate souls when I bend over haha. Oh, and did I mention it has pockets. I think it'll look cute in winter with tights and boots and it'll be pretty dressed up with heels and some jewellery. At the moment I'm loving it with orange nails and lips, although looking back I'm not sure if these leopard print espies really go...I'm never sure what to pair these shoes with but I love them! Anyway, well done Oasis I'll definitely be checking out the store a bit more often. They had a top version of this dress too and I'm sorely tempted...imagine it with leather! But as if I don't have enough denim tops (four and counting...)

ReplyDeleteI love this dress - especially since it has pockets! I was after a similar Topshop one but my Mum got a similar one from Joules so I was like hmm would prefer not to be matchy-matchy with her. I may just borrow hers though!! Looking lovely xx

I'm also a massive fan of the denim dress! I bought one (funnily enough, also from Oasis) about a year ago, but forgot entirely about it.. until now! I'm so looking forward to wearing it this summer! Also, I love the brickwork pattern on your wall, I'm going to go ahead and assume it's wallpaper? Either way, I love it!

The dress and lippy contrast so gorgeously! <3 I love the tone of the lip colour against your skin, such a flawless combo. The elegant necklace adds such a pretty touch! Really love the style of the dress, a denim dress I think is always a fab alternative to maxis and grecian type dresses, and really toughens up all the ditzy summer garb the shops churn out year after year! This is waaay more chic!
